This technique involves the re-alignment of malpostitioned vertebrae by using the hands. This is the most common technique used by Chiropractors. In fact, the word “chiro” means “by hand” in Greek.
This technique utilizes blocks with the assistance of Gravity to re-position the Pelvis and Lumbar Spine into proper alignment. Upon examination of the patient’s leg length and posture, Dr. Strang occasionally discovers that one leg is shorter than the other. This occurance is commonly caused by an unbalanced or twisted Pelvis.
Dr. Strang credits the blocks a great deal in helping with his own personal Low Back Pain.
This technique is also known as Cox technique and it utilizes a special table that Dr. Strang utilizes on his Low Back pain patients. A Flexion-Distraction table flexes the low half of the body and distracts the lumbar spine joints and stretches all the low back musculature. If you have Low Back Pain, you will fall in love with this table. Once again, Dr. Strang has benefited greatly in his own personal low back pain from utilizing this table.
This technique involves the use of a hand-held device to move the bones and re-position the joints. It also works terrific on releasing the myofascial tension patterns in the body.
We treat car accidents, acute/chronic musculo-skeletal conditions, and posture related issues.
Typically when a patient suffers a major trauma such as an Auto Accident there is a great deal of work to be done to return the patient to a Pre-Accident status.First and foremost, we work to get the patient out of pain. This usually involves working extensively on the tight muscles and misaligned bones. We need to get the muscles to relax. When the human body experiences a car accident, there is a reflexive protective mechanism that occurs which causes devastating consequences to the Musculo-Skeletal and Nervous Systems.
